One of the 2 servo's for my ADI Pilot II is labeled Servo B RV6 and has a different arm. Is this servo for pitch or roll?

The longer arm servo is for the roll installation in an RV6. Thanks!

Other than being easier to override, is there any advantage to using lower than maximum torque settings? Do the servos draw less power at lower settings?
