Hi

The diagram shows the WHITE/RED wire going to pin 1 of a nine pin connector labeled ADI SERIES and a BLACK wire running from pin 9 of the same nine pin connector to ground.

My ADI II has a 26 pin connector not a 9 pin connector.

Correct me if I am wrong here...

I think the WHITE/RED wire should connect to pin 6 on the ADI connector?

I think a BLACK wire should run from pin 13 on the ADI connector to ground?

I think the other BLACK wire should run from pin 9 on the Battery Backup Connector to ground and the RED wire should run from pin 1 on the Battery Backup connector to the 12V bus?

I think that normally the power runs from the BUS to pin 1 on the Battery Backup Connector out pin 8 to pin 3 on the switch. Out pin 2 on the switch through the WHITE/RED wire to pin 6 on the ADI Connector?

I think that in the event of a power lose I would move the switch to the LED light ON position and now the power runs from the Backup Battery through pin 6 on the Backup Connector to pin 1 on the switch then to pin 2 on the switch through the WHITE/RED wire to pin 6 on the ADI Connector?

Thanks

You have it correct. Connect the Red/White wire of the battery harness to your ADI Pilot pin 6. Pin 13 on the ADI Pilot and pin 9 on the battery both go to ground. Connect pin 1 of the battery to 12v bus power.

When the LED is off, the power from the bus is transmitted through pin 6 of the battery. When the LED is switched on, the battery power is transmitted through pin 8 of the battery.

Thanks!
