I just installed the Tru Trak and it works amazing, I have never had an autopilot before and am thrilled with it.

I went thru the steps in the manual and everything worked perfectly, it callibrated itself, this is amazing it flew the four headings and then flashed indicating it was calibrated.

I am using a Garmin GPS 111 for now and before it was calibrating it indicated OFF on the display telling me I was getting a good GPS signal???.

After calibration I reprogramed my GPS to go home and it "F" ed me telling me the GPS signal was not valid.

I called tech support for advise on which wire from the GPS harness was connected to the blue wire and he couldnt find it. We both guessed it was the brown and not the white as the white was probably just a ground or nothing. I left the white wire disconnected.

Hi Ray,

The flashing "-F-" on the display is telling you that it is receiving a flight plan from your GPS. At that point, just push both arrow buttons at the same time to engage GPS nav mode. It will follow your flight plan. Thanks!

How red is my face. I thought I read that "F" meant failure of GPS signal.

RTFB (read the f,,,ing book)

No problem Ray. It happens to the best of us (me on a daily basis).
