Hello
will an EMS accept to be connected to float sender for fuel level with resistive signal 17 ohms to 430 ohms ? Calibration is it still possible?
For backup indication is it possible to connect also a dual westach indicator (does I need or not to switch from one to an other?)
Thanks for help

Hi Michel,
That is outside the range of the EMS's capability. Its range is 10-200 ohms. If you put a 330 ohm resistor in parallel with the sender, then it should work correctly. Thanks!

Thanks LUCAS for your reply !
Does the linearity of indication will be affected?
Is it still possible to calibrate correctly the levels ?

You will be able to calibrate them with the resistor in place. Otherwise it will make it impossible to correctly calibrate them since the range of the sender is outside the range of the EMS capability. It will maintain the integrity of the calibration curve also. Thanks!
