I have a ADI Pilot II. When I engage the A/P I get a slight high pitch whine in my headset, It does this with just the roll engaged, or just the pitch engage, and sounds slightly different with both engaged so I'm suspecting it may be coming from the servos. Any ideas how I could filter this out?

It may be an unscientific approach, but I would suggest trying the solution that worked for other "feedback" problems listed here (http://trutrakap.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43). It is inexpensive, easy to install, and won't HURT anything. I don't know if the connector on your AP is the same as on the II VSGV; if not, the same manufacturer makes similar devices in other common D-Sub connector sizes (D-9, etc.).

Both the DII and ADI Pilot II use a 25-pin D-sub connetion. The filter may work. Another thing to check would be grounding points of your audio system. It should be isolated from the servo grounds and most other avioincs. You can also check your headphone jacks, make sure they are isolated from the airframe by nylon, rubber, or fabric washers. Thanks!
