DGII GPS and GRT Interface

I am still in the panel debug stage and haven't flown yet.

I have the VSVG being supplied data via a source selection switch. On one side it receives ARINC and serial data from the GRT EFIS. On the other side it receives ARINC and serial data from the 430W.

When I select the EFIS, I get a flashing "+" sign which I beleive means the A/P is getting ARINC data. When I turn off the ARINC output it changes to a flashing "*". I think this means it is still getting good serial data.

When I select the 430W, I only get a flashing "*". Does this mean the ARINC interface with the 430W is not working? I have set it to "low" speed on the 430W.

Hi Tony,

No, it dosen't mean it's not receiving ARINC data. It means it's not receiving a flight plan. Input a direct-to into the 430W and it should change to a +.
