Lucas,
I am finishing the installation of a Digiflight II roll/pitch autopilot.
The roll servo bracket shipped is a one piece weldment which looks like a circular clamp with an ear welded on. The original design would have you slide the bracket on the shaft of the control rod. On an RV8 this is not possible as the control rod is a weldment on which the sticks are attached. The bracket must consequently be opened up way beyond its elastic limit. in my case opening up the bracket cause a crack to develop perpendicular to the welded ear.
Would you have a new bracket better fitted for the RV8 ? Or must I have one made as a two part piece which clamps onto the control rod ?
Thanks,
Michèle
