ADI Backup Battery Wiring

I am adding the backup battery kit to an ADI. Pins 6 and 8 are wired to two poles of a switch. The common pole is wired to pin 1 of the ADI. Which pin, 6 or 8, is the normal power output and which is the backup battery output?

Hi Tom,

Sorry about the late reply, I've been out of the office for quite some time. Pin 6 is connected to pin 1 internally, so that's ship power. Pin 8 is battery power output. Thanks!
