Roll Rate

I have my ADI Pilot II installed and it is working well. Very pleased.

I was trying to time turns so I could start a turn in advance of a way point course change. It appeares to me the roll rate is fixed as it takes 4 minutes at 120 kts to do a 360 turn so I thought the roll was a half std rate turn. Then I learned it took about 3 min at 90 kts to do a 360 turn.

Does this sound right?

Is there any adjustment to get a std rate turn 3 degrees/sec at 90 kts?

There is no adjustment on the ADI Pilot. It is not rate based, so the rate of turn is not constant. Rather, it is bank angle based, the bank angle is constant regardless of airspeed.
