Released today. The part is available for shipment immediately. We're going to try a new way for submitting. Bear with me as I try this out. If it doesn't work, I'll try something else. To request a retainer bracket send me a PM here (and only here) including your full name, full address, phone number, email address, number of servos. Please take note of the torque enhancer/capstan section of the service bulletin. ( I uploaded the wrong copy at first! )

Quick update. I received the wrong drawing from engineering. Figures, I'm always the last to know. Updated bulletin with CORRECT drawing is now attached to the first post. The first drawing was a preliminary idea that was tossed around. Imagine my pleasant surprise when the boss looked in on the post and saw the wrong part posted. Oops!

Tim, the torque enhancer/capstan servos will have to be sent in to us for modification. We don't have a field fix for them.

I understand that. I'd like to see what the fix looks like before I commit to having it done. That's why I asked for the photo.

The fix for capstan and torque enhancer equipped servos will be the different servo shaft with a stop-nut. These types of servos are much lower volume than the servos with standard arms.

Received one of 2 requested arm retainers yesterday and installed on roll servo. Easy install and looks as though it will be effective. My retainer seemed to benefit from some dressing up on scotchbrite wheel. It's a nice piece. Lucas are you able to send a second arm retainer soon? Thanks...... Bill

Pete,

There is no specific torque. The nylon washer will prevent an accurate torque reading. Make it snug. With the new retainer, you can actually use either screw. If using the old one, we still recommend threadlocker.

Todd, you will need one for roll. If you want to send the pitch servo to us we will fit the new shaft to it.

I know that my PM box is full on VAF, I'm trying ever so subtley to direct people to request the retainers by PM on THIS site. It's difficult for me to keep up with requests from multiple sites and multiple methods. :) If you'd like the retainer for your roll servo, just send me a PM here with all your contact info. Thanks!
