Altrak VS Pin#9 to DT Pin #7 option

I guess this would be note #3 on page 8 schematic (Altrak Installation). Is this truly an option? If I read the note correctly, if I DO NOT connect this wire to the DT then I WILL be able to engage the Altrak without first engaging the DT???

I really don't want to have to engage the DT so that I can engage the Altrak. So, are there any other implications for not connecting pin #9 of Altrak to pin #9 of DT? I mean, I don't want to fall out of the sky :eek:

Correct. It is an option. I actually recommend leaving that disconnected as it gives you more flexibility with operation combinations.
