LS Display instead of GPSS

I just got my DG-II VSGV back from shop - has new software.

When I press "mode" while in "track", the unit displays LS where I expect to see GPSS. I can not find this anywhere in the manual. What does that mean?

The new display says EXT LS instead of GPSS. It stands for EXTernal Lateral Steering. The function is exactly the same, just a different name. :)
