ADI RS-232 IN BAUD Setting - Auto Sensing?

Hi TT,

In the ADI Flight Instrument manual (8300-016 Rev B, starting on page 6), it talks about configuring different GPS' serial settings. Some are configured as 4800 BAUD (ie Garmin GPS III and Magellan GPS 315 A) and others as 9600 BAUD (ie Garmin 430/530 and KMD 150).

I didn't see anywhere in the manual where it talks about how to configure the BAUD setting for the ADI Flight Instrument. Is it auto sensing?

Nelson,

The ADI is auto sensing. As long as the incoming baud rate is one of the acceptable settings, 9600 maximum, it will automatically sync up.
