We believe the backup battery failure posted by planebuilderbill was due to a failed cell inside the pack. This caused an overcharge condition, thus causing the exothermic failure. (Nice word eh?)

We will very soon be selling backup battery systems manufactured by TCW Technologies. I will post up more information as soon as we have some on hand for shipping. Thanks everyone!

No, we simply want to offer a different system. TCW Technologies will be supplying backup battery systems capable of running a full autopilot system for up to one hour.
