digitrac dis engages

While on course auto pilot disengages, but comes back on when brought back on course and reset. Will hold for a while, then repeat. My plan is to switch between two GPS;s on my next flight to El Dorado. Any other suggestions?----Robert---RV-6--New orleans

Hi Robert,

Does the autopilot completely disengage as in the servo shuts off? If so, check your control wheel steering circuit to the AP. If there is a short in the switch or the wire, it can cause this. Let me know what you find. Thanks!
