RV-8 Roll Servo Bracket

Hello,

I installed the bracket for the roll servo on my RV-8 yesterday and noticed there is what looks like a 1/8" hole in the bracket. It is centered on the part of the bracket that surrounds the torque tube. Does it serve a purpose? Should I drill through the torque tube and put a blind rivet through the bracket and tube to keep the bracket from rotating?
