I am flying a Lancair Legacy with an OP Tech EFIS and a Digiflight IIVSGV. The Digiflight seems to work great in track mode, but in GPSS if isn't capturing the heading - kind of tries half heartedly, but also rocks back and forth. Reducing lateral activity to 0 helps with the rock as does dec microactivity, but doesn't eliminate it. Any thoughts.

In GPSS mode, the AP follows whatever dircetions are given to it by the steering command source. You can try increasing the GPSS Gain setting from 16 up to around 20-22 to see if this helps. This will make the AP start the turn sooner, but roll out sooner as well.
Keeping the lateral activity at 0 will probably not help track mode much. The Legacy likes to have more activity than that.
Also, check all your settings in the OP unit to make sure it is steup correctly. There could be a gain adjustment in it as well. Thanks!
