What was the resolution to this pitch problem? I am experiencing the same exact issue.
Thanks,
Jason

I have an RV-7A with the DigiFlight IIVSGV

When I was building and powered up my DII VSG, the roll servo began shaking the stick. I called TT and they walked me thru the programming functions. TT then diagnosed a bad ground. Sure enough, the ground wire in the bundle was broken inside the insulation. I replaced the ground and it worked as advertised. A shot in the dark but I hope this helps. Dan

I doubt that is the issue... I can put the A/P in GPSS mode and it does lateral navigation fine. I can adjust vertical speed up or down and the A/P seems to work fine... It is only when I engage GPSSV that I get the dive or climb.

Ah, there's some new info. What is your GPSV steering command source? So the altitude hold and VS features work correctly?

I can set things up so GPS is either source from a GNS340W or an Advanced Flight System EFIS. I get the same behavior no matter which I source from. And yes, Alt hold and VS work features work correctly

Jason, I haven't forgotten about you. I'm going to run this situation by a few of the others here and see if we can come up with an idea for you. I'll let you know. Thanks!

Jason, is this behavior always at the same airport? Have you tried other airports and had better results?
